The Dahua IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E is a 2MP WizMind bullet network camera developed for long-range outdoor surveillance and intelligent video monitoring. Its 5-60 mm motorised vari-focal lens allows operators to adjust the field of view from a wider scene to a tightly focused telephoto view, making it suitable for property perimeters, entrances, roads and other extended monitoring areas.

The camera combines a maximum 1920 × 1080 resolution with Dahua AI-powered image processing, 120 dB wide dynamic range and infrared illumination reaching up to 150 metres. Deep-learning functions include perimeter protection, SMD 3.0, face detection, video metadata, people counting and intelligent sound detection.

Long-range Motorised Vari-focal Lens

The 5-60 mm motorised vari-focal lens provides a horizontal field of view ranging from approximately 59° at the wide setting to 5° at the telephoto setting. Automatic iris control and remote focal adjustment allow the camera to be configured for an overview of the monitored area or detailed observation of distant targets.

Up to 150 Metres of Infrared Illumination

Four integrated infrared LEDs provide a maximum illumination distance of 150 metres. Automatic, manual and zoom-priority illumination controls help adapt the infrared output to the selected zoom level and monitored scene.

People-counting functions support entrance and exit statistics, people counting within an area and queue management. Compatible management software can generate daily, weekly, monthly or yearly reports, while heat-map functionality provides additional information about activity within the monitored area.

The camera combines AI-powered image processing with 120 dB wide dynamic range, highlight compensation, backlight compensation, electronic image stabilisation, defog and 3D noise reduction. These functions help improve image usability in scenes affected by changing light, vibration, haze or strong backlighting.

Flexible Recording and Integration

Smart H.265+, Smart H.264+ and AI coding options help manage bandwidth and storage requirements. Four video streams are supported, while recordings can be stored on a MicroSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB, a compatible network-attached storage system or supported network recording equipment.

Integrated Audio and Alarm Connections

A built-in microphone enables audio capture without requiring a separate microphone. The camera also provides one external audio input, one audio output, two alarm inputs and one alarm output for integration with compatible security equipment.
