The Dahua IPC-HFW2441S-S is a 4MP bullet network camera designed for intelligent monitoring of entrances, driveways, parking areas, business premises and other indoor or outdoor locations. Its 3.6 mm fixed-focal lens provides a focused 78° horizontal field of view, while Starlight imaging, 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range and integrated infrared illumination help maintain useful detail across changing lighting conditions.

Dahua WizSense technology provides human and vehicle classification for supported tripwire, intrusion and Smart Motion Detection events. The camera also offers Smart H.265+ encoding, a built-in microphone, local microSD recording, PoE installation and an IP67-rated metal enclosure.

Detailed 4MP Surveillance

The 1/2.9-inch CMOS sensor captures video at up to 2688 × 1520 resolution at 20 frames per second. It also supports 2560 × 1440 recording at up to 25 or 30 frames per second, providing additional image detail compared with Full HD cameras.

Focused 3.6 mm Coverage

The 3.6 mm fixed-focal lens provides a 78° horizontal, 41° vertical and 94° diagonal field of view. Its narrower perspective offers more focused coverage than the 2.8 mm version, making it suitable for monitoring defined approaches, passages and other specific areas.

Human and Vehicle Classification

WizSense perimeter protection applies human and vehicle classification to supported tripwire and intrusion rules. SMD Plus can categorise motion-detection targets, helping users focus on relevant human and vehicle activity instead of general scene movement.

Low-light and High-contrast Imaging

Starlight technology supports colour imaging in low-light conditions, while the integrated infrared LED provides illumination at distances of up to 30 metres. True 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range helps retain detail when bright and dark areas appear within the same scene.

Efficient Video Storage

Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ encoding help reduce bandwidth and recording-storage requirements while maintaining useful video quality. Recordings can be saved to a compatible microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB or sent to supported FTP and SFTP storage.

Integrated Audio

A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video feed without requiring a separate external microphone. Supported audio-compression formats include G.711a, G.711Mu, PCM and G.726.

Flexible Outdoor Installation

The camera can be powered using 12 V DC or IEEE 802.3af PoE, allowing network connectivity and power to share a single compatible Ethernet cable. Its metal enclosure carries an IP67 ingress-protection rating and is specified for operation from −40 °C to +60 °C.
