The Dahua IPC-HDBW2441E-S is a 4MP WizSense dome network camera designed for intelligent monitoring of entrances, shops, offices, public areas and other indoor or outdoor locations. Its wide-angle 2.8 mm fixed-focal lens provides a 102° horizontal field of view, while Starlight imaging, 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range and integrated infrared illumination support surveillance across changing lighting conditions.

SMD Plus and perimeter protection provide human and vehicle classification for supported monitoring events. The camera also offers a built-in microphone, Smart H.265+ encoding, local microSD recording, PoE installation and an IP67 and IK10-rated metal enclosure.

Detailed 4MP Surveillance

The 1/2.9-inch CMOS sensor captures video at up to 2688 × 1520 resolution at 20 frames per second. The camera also supports 2560 × 1440 recording at up to 25 or 30 frames per second, providing a practical balance between image detail and frame rate.

Wide-angle 2.8 mm Coverage

The fixed-focal 2.8 mm F1.6 lens provides a 102° horizontal, 54° vertical and 121° diagonal field of view. This wide perspective is suitable for monitoring entrances, rooms and open areas where broad scene coverage is required.

Human and Vehicle Classification

WizSense perimeter protection applies human and vehicle classification to supported tripwire and intrusion rules. SMD Plus categorises motion-detection targets and filters unrelated movement, helping operators focus on relevant human and vehicle activity.

Low-light and Infrared Monitoring

Starlight imaging supports colour operation down to a rated 0.006 lux. When available light falls further, three integrated infrared LEDs provide black-and-white illumination at distances of up to 30 metres.

Clearer High-contrast Images

True 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range helps retain detail when bright and dark areas appear within the same scene. Highlight Compensation, Backlight Compensation and 3D Noise Reduction provide additional options for managing challenging lighting conditions.

Efficient Recording and Storage

Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ encoding help reduce bandwidth and recording-storage requirements while maintaining useful video quality. Footage can be stored on a compatible microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB or sent to supported FTP and SFTP storage.

Integrated Audio

A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video feed without requiring a separate external microphone. Supported audio-compression formats include G.711a, G.711Mu, G.726 and PCM.

Weather and Impact Protection

The metal dome enclosure carries an IP67 ingress-protection rating and an IK10 impact-resistance rating. It is specified for operating temperatures from −40 °C to +60 °C, supporting installation in a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments.
