The Dahua DH-XVR1B16H-I/T is a 16-channel WizSense digital video recorder designed for hybrid video surveillance systems. Its penta-brid architecture supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras, making it suitable for new installations as well as upgrades that need to retain compatible existing analogue cameras. Intelligent human and vehicle filtering, flexible IP expansion and efficient video compression help simplify everyday security monitoring and recording.

Intelligent Human and Vehicle Detection

Recorder-based SMD Plus is available across all 16 analogue channels. The system applies secondary filtering for people and vehicles, helping to reduce false alarms caused by movement such as leaves, rain and changes in lighting conditions. Up to 24 channels of camera-based SMD are also supported when compatible cameras provide the analytics.

Flexible Penta-brid Camera Support

Sixteen BNC inputs automatically detect compatible HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS video signals. The recorder also provides eight IP channels by default and can support up to 24 IP camera channels by converting analogue channels to IP channels. Individual IP camera channels can support resolutions of up to 6 MP, with incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth of up to 128 Mbps.

Efficient Recording and Storage

AI Coding and Smart H.265+ compression help reduce storage and bandwidth requirements while retaining important target details in recorded video. The recorder has one SATA drive bay supporting compatible storage with a capacity of up to 16 TB, subject to the operating environment and selected drive.

Clear Local and Remote Monitoring

An HDMI output supports display resolutions up to 3840 × 2160, while the VGA output supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. The recorder can be accessed through its local graphical interface, supported web browsers and compatible iOS or Android mobile devices. It also supports DMSS version 2.0.30 and later, and DoLynk Care version 2.50.20 and later.

Two-way Audio over Coaxial Cable

Two-way talk is supported across all 16 BNC channels when used with compatible cameras and equipment. This enables communication between the camera, recorder and client through the existing coaxial connection, helping reduce the need for separate audio cabling in suitable installations.
