The Cudy BE6500 M6500 is a two-unit Wi-Fi 7 mesh system designed to provide fast, responsive connectivity across larger and multi-storey homes. Its six-stream dual-band wireless platform delivers combined speeds of up to 6453 Mbps, while a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port on each unit supports modern high-speed fibre connections. Cudy Mesh technology helps maintain consistent coverage as compatible devices move between rooms.

Next-Generation Wi-Fi 7 Performance

Each M6500 unit combines four spatial streams on the 5 GHz band with two spatial streams on 2.4 GHz. Wi-Fi 7 technologies including Multi-Link Operation, 4K-QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and channel widths up to 160 MHz help manage network traffic efficiently when multiple compatible devices are connected.

Responsive Quad-Core Processing

A 2.0 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor works with 512 MB of DDR4 memory to manage everyday streaming, gaming, video calls and connected-home traffic. Cudy recommends the system for networks with up to 200 connected client devices.

2.5 Gigabit Internet Access

Every unit provides one 2.5GbE port and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. This allows the main mesh unit to connect to a compatible multi-gigabit internet service while providing wired connections for desktop computers, televisions, gaming consoles and other network equipment.

Whole-Home Mesh Coverage

The two units work together through Cudy Mesh, with support for both wired and wireless backhaul. Cudy provides an indoor coverage reference of up to 260 m² for the 2-pack when using wireless backhaul, although actual coverage will vary according to unit placement, wall construction, interference and the surrounding environment.

Network Security and Control

WPA3 wireless security, an SPI firewall and denial-of-service protection help safeguard the network. Built-in VPN server and client support includes WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, ZeroTier, PPTP and L2TP. The Cudy app and browser-based configuration page provide access to mesh status, connected-device management, guest networks, parental controls and other network settings.
