Recommended Vinyl Types

Use Cricut StrongGrip Transfer Tape with textured and specialty vinyl such as Glitter Vinyl, Shimmer Vinyl and True Brushed Vinyl. Standard Cricut Transfer Tape is recommended for most smooth, non-textured vinyl because StrongGrip may be too aggressive for those materials.

How to Use

Weed your cut vinyl design, trim a suitable piece of transfer tape and place it over the design. Use a scraper or other burnishing tool to press the transfer tape firmly onto the vinyl. Peel away the vinyl liner, position the design on a clean, dry project surface and burnish again before carefully removing the transfer tape.
