Features

Compact 96% Gaming Layout

The VANGUARD 96 retains a dedicated number pad, arrow keys and function row in a space-efficient 96% design. Its optimised layout provides comprehensive keyboard functionality while creating more room for mouse movement.

Corsair MLX Plasma Linear Switches

Pre-lubricated MLX Plasma switches provide smooth, consistent linear keystrokes without a tactile bump. Featuring 45g actuation force, 2.0mm actuation distance and 4.0mm total travel, they are engineered for responsive gaming and comfortable typing.

Up to 8,000Hz Hyper-Polling

Corsair's high-speed polling technology supports reporting rates up to 8,000Hz, allowing keyboard inputs to be communicated rapidly to compatible systems. This provides highly responsive control for competitive gaming.

Customisable Integrated LCD Display

The built-in colour LCD screen adds a personalised control and information interface to the keyboard. Supported widgets and visual elements can be configured to complement gaming, streaming and everyday computer use.

Six Programmable G-Keys

Six dedicated low-profile G-keys provide convenient access to programmable commands, macros and supported streaming functions. These additional controls help streamline repetitive actions without interrupting gameplay.

Elgato Stream Deck Integration

Integration with Elgato Virtual Stream Deck enables access to supported streaming commands and shortcuts. A dedicated launch control makes it convenient to access the virtual interface for content creation and broadcasting.

Multifunction Rotary Dial

The integrated rotary dial provides intuitive adjustment of supported functions such as volume and other customisable controls. Its convenient positioning helps reduce interruptions during gaming and multimedia use.

FlashTap SOCD Technology

Corsair FlashTap provides configurable handling of simultaneous opposing directional inputs. This allows users to customise supported movement behaviour for responsive control in compatible games.

Hot-Swappable Mechanical Switches

The hot-swappable design supports compatible 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing users to change their typing experience without soldering. The keyboard comes fitted with Corsair MLX Plasma switches.

Quad-Layer Sound Dampening

Four layers of sound-dampening material help minimise unwanted keyboard noise and improve typing acoustics. Combined with factory-lubricated switches, the construction delivers smoother, more controlled keystrokes.

Customisable RGB Lighting

Per-key RGB backlighting allows users to personalise their keyboard with lighting effects and colour combinations. Corsair Web Hub provides access to supported lighting, key remapping and macro customisation.

Magnetic Memory-Foam Wrist Rest

The included detachable wrist rest features comfortable memory-foam cushioning with a leatherette covering. Its magnetic attachment provides convenient positioning and support during extended gaming and typing sessions.
