The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240 Illusion is a 240 mm liquid CPU cooler designed to combine practical processor cooling with highly customisable Addressable Gen 2 RGB lighting. It features Cooler Master’s third-generation Dual Chamber pump, an aluminium radiator and two MasterFan MF120 Halo PWM fans. Support for a broad selection of Intel and AMD sockets makes it suitable for many new builds and compatible system upgrades.

Translucent Addressable RGB Pump

The translucent pump dome contains 12 individually addressable Gen 2 RGB LEDs, allowing light to shine through the pump housing. This creates a distinctive focal point inside cases with a clear side panel while retaining a compact pump design.

Third-Generation Dual Chamber Pump

Cooler Master’s third-generation Dual Chamber design separates the heated coolant from the cooled coolant within the pump assembly. The redesigned internal impeller and housing are intended to improve coolant flow and cooling efficiency while maintaining a maximum rated pump noise level of 10 dB(A).

Expanded Radiator Surface Area

The 240 mm aluminium radiator uses widened water channels to increase the available cooling surface area. Its 277 × 119.6 × 27.2 mm dimensions allow it to fit cases that provide suitable mounting space for a standard 240 mm radiator.

Two MasterFan MF120 Halo Fans

Two included 120 mm MasterFan MF120 Halo fans provide airflow through the radiator. Each fan features a dual-loop lighting design with 24 individual Addressable Gen 2 RGB LEDs, bringing the total lighting system to 60 LEDs across the fans and pump.The four-pin PWM connections allow compatible motherboards to regulate fan speed between approximately 650 and 1,800 RPM. Each fan delivers airflow of up to 47.2 CFM and static pressure of up to 1.60 mmHâ‚‚O.

Addressable Gen 2 RGB Controller

The included Addressable Gen 2 RGB controller works with Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software, allowing compatible Windows systems to customise individual LEDs, colours, effects and brightness. This also provides lighting control for systems without a compatible motherboard ARGB header, subject to the controller and software installation requirements.
