24-Port Multigigabit Connectivity

The C9300-24UX provides 24 copper multigigabit access ports supporting 100Mbps, 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps speeds. Multi-rate operation allows compatible connected devices to negotiate the highest mutually supported link speed, providing flexibility for mixed-speed enterprise environments and higher-bandwidth network devices.

Up to 60W Cisco UPOE

Cisco Universal Power over Ethernet extends conventional PoE capabilities to provide up to 60W of power per supported port. This enables the C9300-24UX to support compatible higher-power network devices while carrying both network data and electrical power over the Ethernet connection.

With the standard 1100W AC power supply, Cisco specifies an available PoE budget of 490W for the C9300-24UX. The 60W rating represents the maximum supported power per applicable port and does not mean that 60W can be supplied simultaneously across all 24 ports with the standard power configuration.

Flexible Modular Uplinks

The Catalyst 9300 modular uplink architecture allows the switch to be configured with an appropriate Cisco network module according to the required network design. Available platform options include 1G, 10G, 25G and 40G fibre connectivity as well as 10G multigigabit copper uplinks, depending on the selected compatible module.

The uplink network module is configuration-dependent and should not be assumed to be included with the base switch unless specifically stated in the supplied bundle.

StackWise-480 and StackPower

Cisco StackWise-480 enables compatible Catalyst 9300 switches to operate as a scalable switch stack, while StackPower provides additional flexibility for sharing power resources between appropriately configured switches. These technologies help simplify deployment and management in larger enterprise access networks.

Network Essentials

The C9300-24UX-E is the Network Essentials version of the Catalyst 9300-24UX platform. Available network functionality depends on the installed Cisco IOS XE software release, licensing and configuration, and features requiring Network Advantage or additional licensing should not be assumed to be included with this SKU.
