The Casio DM-1200FM is designed to simplify everyday financial and commercial calculations. Combining basic arithmetic with business-focused functions, it provides convenient support for pricing, profit calculations, tax computations and general office administration.

Extra-Large 12-Digit LCD Display

The calculator features an extra-large 12-digit liquid crystal display designed for excellent visibility. Its clear numerical presentation makes it easy to review figures, perform calculations involving large values and reduce the likelihood of reading errors.

Cost, Sell and Margin Calculations

Dedicated Cost, Sell and Margin keys simplify pricing calculations for business applications. Users can determine selling prices, purchase costs or profit margins by entering the relevant known values, making the calculator particularly useful for retail pricing and commercial operations.

Convenient Tax Calculations

The integrated tax calculation function allows users to perform tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive calculations using a configured tax rate. Dedicated tax keys simplify everyday calculations involving VAT and other percentage-based taxes.

Profit Margin Percentage Function

The DM-1200FM includes profit margin percentage functionality to assist with pricing and financial calculations. This feature helps users calculate margins without manually performing multiple arithmetic steps.

Premium Metal Faceplate

A stylish metal faceplate gives the calculator a professional appearance suitable for office and business environments. Its refined exterior combines attractive styling with practical desktop functionality.

Ergonomic Rounded Design

The calculator features a gently rounded body and thoughtfully shaped key panel for comfortable operation. Its slightly raised rear profile provides a convenient working angle, helping users maintain a natural hand position during repeated calculations.

Comfortable Two-Step Touch Keys

Casio's two-step touch key design incorporates a shock-absorbing structure within the keys to provide comfortable input feedback. The mechanism is designed to reduce finger fatigue during prolonged periods of calculator use.

Intuitive Key Layout

The carefully arranged keyboard features keys with shapes and positioning suited to natural finger movement. Dedicated arithmetic, memory and business calculation buttons allow users to access commonly used functions efficiently.

Dual Solar and Battery Power

The DM-1200FM uses a dual-power system combining solar energy with battery backup. The calculator operates using solar power when sufficient light is available and automatically relies on battery power when lighting conditions are inadequate.

Adjustable Decimal Selector

The integrated decimal selector offers 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 and ADD2 settings. These options allow users to configure decimal presentation according to different calculation requirements, including financial and accounting applications.

Flexible Rounding Functions

A dedicated rounding selector provides F, CUT and 5/4 settings. These controls allow users to choose floating decimal operation, truncation or conventional rounding to suit their calculation requirements.

Grand Total Calculation

The built-in Grand Total (GT) function allows results from successive calculations to be accumulated automatically. This is particularly convenient when combining multiple figures during business calculations and financial reviews.

Independent Memory Functions

Dedicated memory keys allow values to be stored, recalled and adjusted during calculations. This functionality simplifies multi-step arithmetic operations without requiring users to manually record intermediate results.

Function Command Display Indicators

The LCD includes function command signs that display the active arithmetic operation, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. These indicators provide visual confirmation of the selected calculation and help reduce input errors.

Practical Key Functions

Additional functions include a sign change key, key rollover support and a shift key for correcting entered digits. A dedicated double-zero key also makes entering larger values more convenient during routine calculations.

Convenient Desktop Size

Measuring 205.5 x 149.5 x 35.1mm and weighing approximately 250g, the DM-1200FM provides a spacious working layout without occupying excessive desk space. Its dimensions make it practical for offices, counters and workstations.
