The EOS R7 features a 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor measuring approximately 22.3 x 14.8mm. Combined with the DIGIC X processor, it delivers detailed still images, fast continuous shooting and high-quality 4K video performance.

Fast DIGIC X Performance

The DIGIC X image processor supports continuous shooting at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter or up to 30fps with the electronic shutter, making the EOS R7 well suited to wildlife, sport and other fast-moving subjects.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF II provides autofocus coverage across approximately 100% of the image area with up to 651 automatically selectable AF zones. Intelligent subject detection can recognise and track people, animals and vehicles for more reliable focusing during still and video capture.

5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization

The built-in 5-axis image stabilisation system helps reduce camera shake when shooting handheld. When used with compatible optically stabilised RF and RF-S lenses, coordinated stabilisation provides additional correction for sharper photos and smoother video.

4K 60p Video Recording

The included RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens covers a broad wide-angle to telephoto range equivalent to approximately 29-240mm on a 35mm-format camera. This makes it suitable for landscapes, travel, portraits, wildlife and everyday photography without frequently changing lenses.

Optical Image Stabilization

The RF-S 18-150mm lens provides up to 4.5 stops of optical image stabilisation on its own. When coordinated with the EOS R7's in-body stabilisation system, the combination helps provide additional shake correction for handheld photography and video.

STM Autofocus

Canon's leadscrew-type STM focusing motor provides smooth and quiet autofocus operation, making the lens suitable for both still photography and video recording.

Close-Focusing Capability

The lens can focus as close as approximately 0.17m at 18mm and provides a maximum magnification of 0.44x at 50mm, allowing users to capture detailed close-up subjects as well as wider scenes.
