The Canon EOS R5 is a full frame mirrorless camera thats powered with a large 45MP CMOS Image Sensor and a powerful DIGIC X Image Processor. HEIF Image Format

Not only does the Canon EOS R5 capture JPEG and CR3 RAW files, but it also allows you to capture HEIF (High Efficiency Image Format) files. Capturing in this format allows a much higher image quality than your standard JPEG files. However, they more or less the same file size. What's nice about this format is that it allows 10-bit colour too for a more dynamic range and it also allows the capture of HDR PQ images. Additionally, the HEIF format can also be processed in camera to produce JPEG files.
