    The Cambium Networks ePMP 4500L is a connectorised 5 GHz fixed wireless access point designed for service providers and organisations building point-to-multipoint broadband networks. Its 2x2 MIMO/OFDMA radio uses underlying 802.11ax technology and supports channel widths up to 80 MHz, providing capacity of up to 1 Gbps while serving as many as 120 subscriber modules per sector. This ROW configuration includes a South African power cord and a 56 V 30 W PoE supply.

    Flexible Connectorised Deployment

    Two 50-ohm RP-SMA antenna connections allow the ePMP 4500L to be paired with a compatible Cambium Networks 90° or 120° 2x2 sector antenna. It can also be used with the compatible RF Elements TwistPort adaptor for ePMP, giving network designers greater flexibility when selecting sector or horn antenna configurations.

    Efficient 802.11ax-Based Wireless Performance

    The 2x2 MIMO/OFDMA radio supports 20, 40 and 80 MHz channel widths, adaptive modulation up to 1024-QAM and transmit power adjustable in 1 dB intervals. Cambium’s scheduling and Quality of Service engine helps operators manage traffic priorities across voice, high-priority and standard data services.

    Synchronised and Scalable Networking

    Internal GPS synchronisation helps operators coordinate access points and make more efficient use of available spectrum. The access point supports up to 120 subscriber modules per sector and interoperates with compatible Force 400 Series subscriber modules while maintaining backwards compatibility with Force 300 Series subscriber modules.

    Centralised Network Management

    The ePMP 4500L can be managed through Cambium Networks cnMaestro, with cloud-based and on-premises management options available. HTTPS, SNMPv2c and SSH management support assists with secure provisioning, monitoring and maintenance, while LINKPlanner can be used to plan compatible Cambium Networks wireless links.

    Built for Outdoor Installation

    An IP67/IP68-rated enclosure, integrated surge suppression and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 55°C make the ePMP 4500L suitable for demanding outdoor deployments. The unit also includes an auxiliary SFP+ port, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and support for standard 802.3at PoE.
