The Cambium Networks ePMP 4500L is a connectorised outdoor access point designed for fixed wireless broadband networks. Its 2x2 MIMO and OFDMA architecture is based on 802.11ax technology, helping network operators deliver efficient point-to-multipoint connectivity in demanding deployments.

Support for channel widths up to 80 MHz, 1024-QAM modulation and performance above 1 Gbps makes the ePMP 4500L a practical choice for targeted sectors and growing subscriber networks. This South African ROW package includes a 56V 30W PoE supply and South African power cord.

Efficient 802.11ax Fixed Wireless Performance

The ePMP 4500L uses a Cambium proprietary physical layer based on 802.11ax, with 2x2 MIMO and OFDMA operation. Adaptive modulation from BPSK through to 1024-QAM helps the radio respond to changing link conditions, while 20, 40 and 80 MHz channel options provide deployment flexibility.

Flexible Connectorised Design

Two 50-ohm RP-SMA connections allow the access point to be paired with a compatible 90-degree or 120-degree 2x2 sector antenna. It is also compatible with the RF Elements TwistPort adaptor for ePMP, giving installers additional options when designing a targeted coverage sector.

Please note: A compatible external sector antenna is required for operation and is not included with the access point.

Designed for Outdoor Network Infrastructure

An IP67-rated enclosure and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 55°C support outdoor deployment in challenging weather conditions. Integrated 1-joule surge suppression provides an additional level of protection, although appropriate external grounding and surge protection should still be used during installation.

Practical Network Management

The ePMP 4500L can be managed using HTTPS, SNMPv2c and SSH, with cloud or on-premises management available through cnMaestro. GPS synchronisation, VLAN support and three-level quality-of-service prioritisation help operators coordinate sectors and manage different traffic requirements.
