The Cambium Networks cnMatrix EX1028-P is a fully managed enterprise Gigabit PoE+ network switch designed to provide reliable wired connectivity, intelligent network management and power delivery for access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other PoE devices. It combines 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports with four Gigabit SFP uplinks, a 200W PoE power budget and 56Gbps non-blocking switching capacity. cnMaestro management, zero-touch deployment, Policy Based Automation and advanced security capabilities make it well suited to enterprise, education, hospitality and other managed network environments.

24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Connectivity

The cnMatrix EX1028-P provides 24 × 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports for connecting and powering compatible network devices. IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support provides up to 30W per compatible port, with a total available PoE power budget of 200W for equipment such as wireless access points, IP surveillance cameras and VoIP phones.

Four Gigabit SFP Uplinks

Four Gigabit SFP interfaces provide flexible fibre uplink connectivity for connecting the EX1028-P to network infrastructure, aggregation switches and other compatible equipment. These dedicated uplinks complement the 24 copper Gigabit Ethernet access ports without consuming standard client-facing connections.

56Gbps Non-Blocking Performance

A full line-rate, non-blocking switching architecture provides up to 56Gbps of switching capacity, while a forwarding rate of up to 120Mpps supports fast packet handling across the network. This performance makes the switch suitable for demanding enterprise wired and wireless network deployments.

cnMaestro Network Management

The EX1028-P integrates with Cambium Networks' cnMaestro management platform, allowing administrators to manage supported network infrastructure through cloud-based or on-premises deployment options. Zero-touch deployment simplifies initial provisioning, while Policy Based Automation reduces repetitive manual configuration during network changes.

Advanced QoS and Traffic Management

Quality of Service capabilities include ACL mapping and marking of ToS/DSCP, priority-queue mapping, DSCP and 802.1p CoS support, Weighted Round Robin and Strict Priority queue management. Traffic-management features include ACL-based inbound rate limiting, per-port inbound and outbound controls, and broadcast, multicast and unknown-unicast rate limiting.
