The ROG XBOX Ally X20 celebrates two decades of ROG gaming hardware with a distinctive translucent black chassis and gold detailing. Gold accents extend to the internal components and joystick lighting, while a dedicated ROG 20th Anniversary badge completes the special-edition design.
7.4-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED Display
The 7.4-inch ROG Nebula HDR display combines a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution with OLED technology for deep blacks, vivid colour and high contrast. The display reaches 600 nits in SDR content and up to 1400 nits for HDR highlights.
It also supports Dolby Vision HDR, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Pantone validation and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1400 certification.
Smooth 120Hz Gaming
A 120Hz refresh rate combines with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and a variable refresh range of 30Hz to 120Hz to help keep gameplay smooth and tear-free. The OLED panel delivers a near-instant 0.2ms response time for clear motion during fast-paced games.
The touchscreen supports 10-point multi-touch operation and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and Gorilla Glass DXC. An anti-reflection coating helps reduce environmental reflections when gaming in brighter surroundings.
AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Performance
Powering the ROG XBOX Ally X20 is the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, a base frequency of 2.0GHz and boost frequency of up to 5.0GHz. The processor also incorporates an AMD XDNA NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance.
The system is paired with 24GB of onboard LPDDR5X dual-channel memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD.
ROG Intelligent Cooling
An evolved ROG Intelligent Cooling system is designed to sustain gaming performance by directing airflow towards the processor through an internal cooling channel and high-flow fans.
Designed for Comfortable Control
The handheld chassis features sculpted rubberised grips designed for a secure and comfortable hold. Revised bumpers, deeper trigger travel and rounded face buttons are designed to improve control during longer gaming sessions.
TMR Joysticks
Magnetic TMR joystick sensors provide precise input with a tight 3% deadzone. The sticks feature Aura RGB light rings and are designed to reduce the risk of traditional analogue stick drift.
Transforming D-pad
The Transforming D-pad can be lifted and rotated by 90 degrees to switch between focused 4-way directional input and broader 8-way control without requiring additional tools or replacement components.
Impulse and Hall Effect Triggers
Left and right impulse triggers provide haptic feedback, while Hall Effect analogue trigger technology enables precise analogue control.
Windows 11 Gaming
Running Windows 11 Home, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 provides access to XBOX and major PC gaming storefronts from a single handheld gaming PC. Armoury Crate Special Edition provides a handheld-focused interface for managing and launching games.
XBOX Mode
The handheld can start in XBOX mode, providing a controller-optimised interface designed around the familiar XBOX layout.
Immersive Audio
A two-speaker system with Smart Amplifier technology combines with Dolby Atmos support for immersive audio. The system also includes a built-in array microphone, AI noise-cancelling technology and Hi-Res certification for headphone output.
80Wh Battery
The integrated 80Wh 4-cell lithium-ion battery provides the power capacity required for portable gaming. Charging is supported through USB-C Power Delivery.
Fast Wireless Connectivity
