Features
Vibrant Red Finish
Anycubic TPU 68D Red delivers a bold colour that enhances functional 3D-printed parts. Its striking appearance is ideal for custom accessories, protective components, RC models, toys and creative projects requiring a distinctive finish.
Controlled Flexibility with Shore 68D Hardness
With a Shore hardness rating of 68D, this filament offers greater rigidity than conventional TPU 95A while retaining useful flexibility and resilience. This balance makes it suitable for components requiring mechanical support, durability and controlled deformation.
Excellent Wear Resistance
The durable TPU formulation is designed to withstand abrasion and repeated handling. It is well suited to protective guards, equipment accessories and components exposed to regular contact or friction.
High Toughness and Resilience
Anycubic TPU 68D combines strength with flexible material behaviour to help printed parts withstand mechanical stress. Its resilient properties make it suitable for functional prototypes and protective applications.
Soft-Hard Multi-Material Printing
TPU 68D supports printing alongside compatible rigid materials such as PLA and PETG. This enables the creation of parts combining flexible and rigid sections, including protective bumpers, tool grips and mechanical accessories.
Optimised for Anycubic ACE 2 Pro
Specifically engineered for the Anycubic ACE 2 Pro system, TPU 68D combines increased firmness with controlled filament feeding. This helps support compatible multi-colour and multi-material printing workflows.
High-Speed Printing Performance
With a recommended printing speed range of 40-250mm/s, Anycubic TPU 68D supports efficient printing on capable FDM equipment. Actual printing speed depends on printer compatibility, extrusion performance, model design and selected settings.
Reliable Extrusion
The optimised filament formulation supports consistent material feeding and controlled extrusion. Its increased rigidity compared with softer TPU can help reduce common flexible-filament feeding difficulties on suitable printers.
Excellent Material Elongation
Anycubic specifies an elongation at break of 650 ±20%, demonstrating the material's substantial deformation capability under laboratory testing. Actual printed-part flexibility depends on wall thickness, infill, model geometry and printing orientation.
Durable Protective Components
The combination of toughness, resilience and wear resistance makes TPU 68D suitable for protective phone cases, drone guards, RC tyres, equipment covers, watch straps and other functional accessories.
Intelligent Filament Identification
Supported Anycubic systems can identify compatible TPU 68D filament to simplify material recognition and configuration. This feature requires compatible hardware and supported filament identification functionality.
Reusable Filament Spool
The reusable spool features a secure locking design that helps keep filament organised during handling and storage. Its reusable construction supports convenient material management and compatible refill workflows.
Versatile FDM Printer Compatibility
Although optimised for Anycubic ACE 2 Pro, TPU 68D can also be printed using many compatible direct-drive FDM printers. The printer must support 1.75mm TPU filament and the recommended extrusion temperatures.
Ideal for Functional Applications
Anycubic TPU 68D Red is suitable for drone guards, RC accessories, protective cases, tool grips, sporting equipment components, toys and engineering prototypes requiring toughness with controlled flexibility.
Recommended Printing and Storage
- Recommended nozzle temperature: 210-250°C.
- Recommended heated bed temperature: 35-60°C.
- Recommended printing speed: 40-250mm/s.
- Use a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm or larger.
- Recommended drying conditions: 65-75°C for 6-8 hours.
- Store unused filament in a sealed, dry container with desiccant.
- Printing settings and performance may vary depending on the printer.
- Multi-material printing requires compatible hardware and settings.
- TPU 68D is firmer than conventional TPU 95A and is not intended for extremely soft, rubber-like applications.
