Super 6 Score Predictor — Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Super 6 Score Predictor score prediction game (the "Game") made available at FirstShop (the "Site") ("we", "us", "our", or the "Organiser").

By accessing the Site, submitting predictions, or participating in the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate. These Terms constitute an agreement under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").

1. Definitions

  • Game: Free score-prediction activity described in clause 4.
  • Participant: Any person submitting predictions.
  • Personal Information: As defined in POPIA.
  • Predictions: Scores submitted for matches.
  • Round: Set of matches with a lock time.

2. Nature of the Game

  • The Game is free and for entertainment purposes only.
  • No entry fee, wager, or financial consideration is required.
  • It is not gambling, betting, or a lottery.
  • The Game is not affiliated with FIFA or any governing body.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Underage entries may be removed.
  • Participation is void where prohibited by law.

4. How the Game Works

  • Matches are published per round.
  • You predict exact final scores.
  • Results are derived automatically.
  • Email is required for submission.
  • Entries cannot be edited after submission.
  • Late entries are not accepted.

5. Participant Conduct

  • No impersonation or false identity use.
  • No bots, scripts, or automated submissions.
  • No system interference or disruption.
  • No unlawful or abusive activity.

6. No Warranties

  • Provided "as is" and "as available".
  • No guarantee of uptime or accuracy.
  • Third-party failures are not our responsibility.
  • We may modify or discontinue at any time.

7. Personal Information (POPIA)

  • We collect email and predictions only.
  • Data is used solely to operate the Game.
  • Google services may process data on our behalf.
  • Data may be stored outside South Africa.
  • You may request access or deletion.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All site content is owned or licensed.
  • Third-party trademarks remain their property.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • No liability for indirect or consequential loss.
  • Maximum liability is R0.00.
  • Legal exclusions still apply where required.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from breach of these Terms or misuse of the Game.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance.

12. General

  • Governed by South African law.
  • Jurisdiction: South African courts.
  • Invalid clauses do not affect remaining Terms.
  • This document is the full agreement.
  • No waiver of rights if not enforced immediately.

Welcome to The FirstShop prediction game ("The FirstShop Bracket", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and The FirstShop Bracket and govern your access to and use of our website, prediction game, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is a free-to-play prediction game offered for entertainment; no purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Participation in prize draws may be limited or void.

Your account

You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear to be operated fraudulently (including duplicate or bot accounts).

Picks, scoring & leaderboards

Picks must be submitted before the official close; late picks are not accepted. Scoring follows the published rules and scoring page, which forms part of these Terms. We rely on official match results from official sites; corrections after publication will be honoured where reasonable.

Public leaderboards display your chosen display name and total points.

Prizes

Where The FirstShop game offers a prize for the perfect bracket predication the specific prize, eligibility, and delivery rules are listed on the Rules page or the specific promotion. Prizes are non-transferable, and may be substituted for items of equivalent value. Taxes, where applicable, are the winner's responsibility.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • create multiple accounts, automate picks, or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard;
  • upload abusive, defamatory, hateful, or unlawful display names or content;
  • attempt to access, probe, or interfere with our infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially redistribute the Service;
  • impersonate FIFA, a federation, a player, or any other person or organisation.

Only residents of South Africa are eligible to play.

Intellectual property

The The FirstShop game name, logo, design system, and software are owned by us. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Team names, crests, and tournament marks remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced for editorial purposes only.

Independence; no FIFA affiliation

The FirstShop Game is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to FIFA, any national football association, broadcaster, or team.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that scores, fixtures, or results will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The FirstShop Game and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or consumer rights under your local law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings or by emailing support@firstshop.co.za. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue in effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time with any notification except on this page. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
