The ZV-E10 is an Alpha Series APS-C mirrorless camera designed specifically for vloggers. It lets users live stream directly through a computer or smartphone, and the camera can act as a webcam. On top of the camera are buttons to record movie or quickly toggle between still, movie, and S&Q (slow and quick) modes. The camera even shows a red frame marker on the screen to easily see when the recording is in progress.

The camera features Soft Skin Mode, a fully articulating screen to monitor video while shooting, a zoom lever to operate zoom lenses, and a multi-directional microphone that comes with a "deadcat" windscreen. The new Product Showcase Mode also automatically shifts focus away from a subject's face to an object held in front of the camera, and the Background Defocus Function sets the lens to its maximum aperture for beautiful bokeh.
