The SA Filament ABS Premium SAF-ABSPREB0720-GRN is a 1.75mm engineering-grade 3D printing filament designed for strong, durable and heat-resistant printed parts. Supplied on a 1kg spool in Pale Green, this ABS formulation is well suited to functional components, prototypes, housings and mechanical parts that require greater toughness and temperature resistance than standard PLA.

Features

Durable ABS Material

ABS is a strong engineering thermoplastic widely used for applications that require toughness, impact resistance and improved heat tolerance. It is suitable for prototypes, enclosures, brackets and other functional 3D printed components.

Consistent 1.75mm Diameter

SA Filament produces the filament to an accurate 1.75mm diameter with an approximate tolerance of ±0.05mm, helping maintain consistent material flow and reduce over- or under-extrusion during printing.

Heat and Impact Resistance

ABS provides improved resistance to heat and mechanical impact compared with standard PLA, making it suitable for printed parts that may be exposed to warmer environments or regular physical stress.

Suitable for Post-Processing

ABS can be sanded, drilled and finished after printing, while compatible acetone smoothing techniques can be used to achieve a smoother surface finish where appropriate.

Optimised Printing Temperatures

Recommended printing temperatures are approximately 230 to 250°C with a heated build plate between 80 and 110°C. An enclosed printer is recommended to help maintain stable temperatures and reduce warping.

• An enclosed printer is recommended for improved temperature stability.
• Not recommended for Bambu A1 or A1 mini printers due to the open-frame design.
• Actual settings may vary according to printer, nozzle, build surface and environment.
