With plug & play installation, the converter can be easily connected and used instantly. The included mains adapter powers the connected hard drive. The USB 3.0 to SATA Converter does not directly support 3.3V HDD/SSDs; for drives which require 3.3V, please use a SATA/Micro SATA adapter.
