Razer Opto-Mechanical Switch: Razer's new Opto-Mechanical Switch demonstrates the constant innovations in the field of gaming switches. With the help of optical technology, an infrared light in each switch registers exactly when a key is pressed. With an activation point of 1.5 mm, the Razer Opto-Mechanical Switch can be activated 30 percent faster than traditional, clicking mechanical switches. Razers Opto-Mechanical Switch offers better performance without sacrificing tactility. It has the same activation and reset points for quick keystrokes as in a linear switch.
